Mary R. (Lori) Ruggiero, 88, died Friday, May 8, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Octavio J. Ruggiero. Born and raised in Canton, she was a graduate of St. John's High School in Canton. Mrs. Ruggiero was a resident of Stoughton for over 60 years. Mrs. Ruggiero worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's company, O.J. Ruggiero & Co., for several years. She then worked for Kiddie Products in Avon and later worked for Johnson & Johnson in Raynham, where she retired from many years ago. Mary was an avid reader and in later years enjoyed listening to audio books. Mary also enjoyed cooking, crocheting and ceramics.
Mrs. Ruggiero was the loving mother of Donna McNeill of Stoughton, Thomas Ruggiero of North Attleboro, Susan McCormick of Brockton, OJ Ruggiero and Mary Ruggiero both of Stoughton, and the late David Ruggiero and Peter Ruggiero. She was the sister of the late Celeste Fay and Nora McCoubrey and is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to Coronavirus Restrictions, Private Family Services will be held with burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon Street, Watertown, MA, 02472.
