Mary Josephine Ryan-Hardiman

Mary Josephine Ryan-Hardiman ("Mary", "Mary Jo" or "Auntie"), a lifelong resident of Easton for 60 years, died peacefully at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Saturday, July 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Robert F. Hardiman, Jr. and the daughter of the late Edward M. and Lois E. (Orcutt) Ryan. Mary was born in Brockton and raised in Easton, where she graduated from Oliver Ames High School in 1980 before earning her Associate Degree at Massasoit Community College in Brockton. She was the owner and operator of Advantage Home Health in Stoughton for the past 15 years. Mary was also very active at Immaculate Conception Church in North Easton and as a volunteer at the Easton Food Pantry.

In addition to her husband, Bob, Mary is survived by her five siblings: Edward M. Ryan of Onset, MA, Thomas P. Ryan and his wife Sandra of Hillsboro Beach, FL, Daniel J. Ryan and his wife Amy of Deerfield Beach, FL, Kathleen E. Goolsky and her husband Richard of Middleboro, MA and Debra A. Ryan-Kelly of Onset, MA. Mary is also survived by her siblings' previous partners: Barbara Ryan, Susan Ryan, and Michael Kelly, by her loving mother-in-law, Norrine Hardiman, and by three sisters-in-law: Laura Bushlow and her husband Dan, Kelly Gillis and her husband Jeremy and Jennifer Hardiman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Jingles.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, July 29 from 4-7 PM. A funeral will be held at the Farley Funeral Home on Saturday, July 30 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Easton at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Easton. Donations in Mary's memory may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main Street, Easton, MA 02356.
