Maureen A. (Cedrone) Lightbourn

Maureen A. (Cedrone) Lightbourn, 77, died Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of 42 years of Raymond James “Jimmy” Lightbourn. Born and raised in Quincy, she was a graduate of Quincy Schools and Mansfield Beauty Academy. Maureen was a resident of Stoughton for the past 7 years, previously living in Bermuda for many years. She worked as a hairdresser and owned several shops in Braintree and Quincy for over 25 years, before moving to Bermuda where she spent many happy years. As a young woman, she enjoyed riding horses. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping and spending time surrounded by her beloved family.

Maureen is survived by her husband Jimmy of Stoughton and was predeceased by her daughter Sarah A. Lightbourn. She was the mother in law of AJ Kusi of Stoughton and was the grandmother of Agyeman Kusi, Donovan Kusi and Lennoxx Kusi. She was the sister of John Cedrone, Michael Cedrone and Peter Cedrone, all of Stoughton, Steven Cedrone of Quincy, Eleanor Cedrone of Bermuda, Sharon Cedrone of FL and the late James Cedrone. She is also survived by step children Dean Lightbourn and Desiree’ Woods, both of Bermuda, her sister-in-law Marianne Lister, her neighbor and dear friend 'sent from heaven', Jan, her cats Socks and Kittles, as well as several nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Funeral Prayers will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, May 18th at 12 PM with Visiting Hours prior from 10 AM-12 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maureen’s memory may be made to Feed the Children, 333 N. Meridian Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73107. The family would like to say God Bless You All.
