Michael T. O’Hare, 56, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026, at the Milford Regional Medical Center, after a short period of declining health. Michael was born on August 25, 1970, to Richard O’Hare and Linda (Swallow) O’Hare and raised in Stoughton. Michael was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1988, and earned his Associates Degree at Massasoit Community College. Michael was a longtime resident of Brockton. He worked as a Firefighter for the Brockton Fire Department for several years. Michael loved animals and music and was often found listening to Metallica or Black Sabbath. He enjoyed camping and spending time in Vermont. He also enjoyed watching his favorite teams - the Bruins, Patriots and Red Sox.

Michael is survived by his children, Samantha J. O’Hare and her fiancé Paul DerAnanian of Warwick, RI, and Kelsey G. O’Hare of Brockton; his sister, Kathleen O’Hare of Middleboro and his nephews Eric and Jordan; and his former spouse, Kristen M. O’Hare of Brockton. He is also survived by his partner of several years, Erika Sanders and her children of Millis.
