Michael H. Wilson

Michael H. Wilson, a resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 after a lengthy illness. He was the much-loved husband of Vicki A. (Ovedovitz) Wilson. Son of the late Harold and Vivian A. (Janes) Wilson, he was born and raised in Syracuse, NY. He resided in Stoughton for the past 15 years. Mike was a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and also earned his HVAC degree. Mike enjoyed tinkering and fixing anything around his house, especially anything mechanical. He built a human powered tricycle and enjoyed biking, fishing, hiking and his 2 dogs, Lexi and Charlie. He liked jazz and sci-fi movies. His greatest joy was spending time with his friends and family, especially building Legos with his grandson, Michael.

In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by his son, Mathew C. Wilson of Stoughton and his grandson, Michael J. Wilson. He was the brother of Joan Wilson of Syracuse, NY and brother-in-law of Nancy Ovedovitz of Hamden, Ct., Donna and Peter Ritz of Austin, Texas, David Ovedovitz and Donnelly Bohan of Alexandria, Virginia and Carrie and Ken Rostkowski of Holly Springs, North Carolina. Mike is also survived by several nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and PCT's at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston for all that they did for Mike with compassion and kindness.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, funeral services are private with a celebration of Michael's life at a later date. Donations in Michael's memory may be made to the American Liver Foundation, c/o Sheri Singer, 10 Fisher St., Apt. 1106, Foxboro, MA 02035.
