Nam D. Tuong

Nam D. Tuong, 71, died Saturday, December 24, 2022, at the South Cove Manor Nursing Home in Quincy, after cancer battle. Born in Saigon, Vietnam, he was raised and educated in Saigon. In 1979, he moved to the United States, and settled in Brockton, where he has been a resident since. He worked for Concert Medical and later Theragenics in Norwood for many years, retiring several years ago. Nam was a gifted guitar player and was a longtime member of two bands: MassWay and Blue Heaven that performed in the Boston area for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed photography, writing and playing music and spending time with his extended family, friends, and bandmates. 

Nam was the brother of Be A Trinh of Easton, Phong Trinh of Holbrook, Ha Trinh of Brockton, Kiet Tuong of France and the late Huy D. Chiang, Anne Choy, Yueli Jiang and Khoa Tuong. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, December 29th from 5-8 PM. Funeral Services with Family Reflections will be held on Friday, December 30th at 10 AM followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
