Nancy N. (Robbins) Harrington

Nancy Norinne (Robbins) Harrington a longtime resident of Stoughton, MA, died peacefully on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was 84 years old.Nancy is survived by her 5 daughters, Lorinne (Harrington) and Guy Pinkston of San Angelo, TX, Kathleen (Harrington) and Joseph Hannon of Stoughton, Joline (Harrington) and David Davis of Fairfield, ME, Darlene Harrington of Stoughton, Christine (Harrington) and Dennis Zani of Taunton. She had 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 47 wonderful years, William J. Harrington, her infant son William Scott Harrington, her brother Paul Robbins of Weymouth, her beloved sister Linda (Robbins) Harrington of Carver, and her parents Linwood and Ruth Robbins. Nancy is survived by her best friend of 70 years, Dottie Hammond of Halifax, her in-laws Jean Croghan of Hanson, and Jim and Mary Tucker of Monponsetts.

Nancy was employed for many years where she lived and worked alongside her daughter and son-in-law at the Stoughton Motel. Nancy was a bowler on the Monday morning gals league for 30 plus years. She was a super fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. She was also an avid marbles and cribbage player. One of her favorite places to go was Buddy's Union Villa, where she enjoyed her Miller Lite "in a small glass", and was always treated like family. She was a platinum member of NCL cruise lines where she enjoyed 20 wonderful cruises – always joined by family. She also loved the casino, where she could relax and enjoy herself. Nancy took great pride most of all in the family that she and her husband Bill created – The Five Redheads.

Services will be held at The Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Thursday, August 26th at 11:15am. A celebration of Nancy's life will immediately follow her services. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's name may be made to the Brockton VNA, 500 Belmont St Ste 200, Brockton, MA 02301.
