Nancy Hazelwood, age 86 passed away peacefully at Nemasket Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Middleboro on August 13, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Hazelwood. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late James Hemphill and Susan (Guilfoy) Hemphill, and was a graduate of Dorchester High School. Nancy worked as a Nurses Aide for many years, but above all spending time with her family was her greatest passion.

Nancy is survived by her son David Hazelwood and his wife Sandra Rose of Lakeville. She was the grandmother to Evan and Joshua Hazelwood. She is also survived by her sister Donna Parshley of Stoughton, and was preceded in death by her siblings, Jeanne Parenteau, Norman Hemphill, Dorothy Clarke, Robert Hemphill, Kathleen King, and James Hemphill.

A Graveside service will be held at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton on Friday August 21st at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
