Nancy M. (Greene) Mulcahy

Nancy M. (Greene) Mulcahy, 78, died Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the Morton Hospital in Taunton. Born in Boston, daughter of the late John R. and Ann M. (Callahan) Greene, she was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain. Nancy was a resident of Taunton since 2018 and previously lived in Stoughton for many years. She worked as a Dental Assistant and Office Manager for Dr. Nicholas Rockoff in Canton for many years, retiring in 2016. She was a longtime parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. Nancy was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed painting, trips to the beach and gardening. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Pamela M. Mulcahy and her partner Daniel Murphy of Abington and Shannon Mulcahy of Taunton. She was the beloved “Ma” of Dillion O’Shea and Liam Murphy. She was the sister of James Hanlon of FL, Susan Burke and her husband Paul of Mansfield, Kerry Greene of Stoughton and the late Richard Greene, Jack Hanlon and Billy Greene. She is also survived by her large extended family, many nieces, nephews and friends, including her longtime friends, Joseph Jones and Margaret Crowley.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. James Church, 560 Page St., Stoughton on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Omitted. Donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to the St. Anthony’s Food Pantry, 2 Park Ave., Stoughton, MA 02072.
