Nancy C. (Carroll) Riely

Nancy (Ann) C. (Carroll) Riely, 87, passed peacefully Thursday, March 19, 2020, at the Residences at Five Corners in Easton. She was the wife of the late James Riely. Born in Quincy, she was raised in Wollaston and was a graduate of Quincy High School. She worked for Ma Bell Telephone in Boston managing an accounting department for many years, retiring at age 48. She sold her two houses and moved to Hawaii (moving to paradise as she was known to say). There she remained a resident of Hawaii for over 35 plus years in Waikiki, Honolulu and the big island of Kona. The last five years were spent sharing her humor and laughter at the Residence at Five Corners and spending time with her family going to the Town Spa on Fridays and out to lunch and shopping on Sundays.

She was known for her witty sense of humor, her laughter was infectious and her dedication to her sisters and brothers was a beautiful sight to behold. Nancy enjoyed traveling the world, especially loved attending the Olympic games with her late husband, spending time in Las Vegas, walking daily, listening to music, dancing and had been awarded masterpoints in contract bridge. She had a love for animals and could not pass by without petting them. Nancy will be missed dearly by all those who knew her.

Nancy was the sister of the late Rosemary "Sis" Naas of Stoughton, Joseph Carroll of Stoughton, James "Dud" Carroll of Winthrop and Francis "Bunchie" Carroll of Marshfield. She is also survived by nieces & nephews Joe & Carol Naas, Carol & Jim Martin, Mary Lou & Tom Costello, Dianne & Dom Paci, Debbie & Sal Lamonica, Jimmy Carroll, Denise & Kenny Quist, Billy & Kathy Carroll, Frank & AJ Carroll, Mike Carroll, Noreen & the late Patrick Carroll, Dennis Carroll, Joe & Pam Carroll, Mary Elizabeth & Joe MacDonald, Timmy & Suzi Carroll, Danny & Eileen Carroll, Jimmy & Bernie Carroll, Kathy Carroll and many great nieces & nephews.

Due to the current CDC recommendations, all services will be private with a celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date.
