Olivia N. Corcoran, 35, died Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at the University of Wisconsin Medical in Madison, WI, after a short illness. Born in Boston, she was raised in Weymouth and educated at the Sacred Heart School in Weymouth, which became an integral piece of her younger years. She then attended and graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Hingham, Class of 2009. Following her graduation, she then attended Catholic University in Washington DC, graduating in 2013 and earned her Masters Degree in Architecture at Illinois Institute of Technology in 2016. Olivia worked as an Architect for Epstein Design and Construction for the past 10 years and was a trusted and professional colleague. She was a resident of Chicago for the last 13 years.
Olivia had an insatiable passion for life. She was funny and creative, enjoyed cooking and hosting friends. She loved a good meal and a perfect martini. Olivia was a humble and kind friend and lived every day joyfully and without regret. She loved being surrounded by her family and her friends.
Olivia is survived by her mother Michelle Lothrop of Stoughton and her siblings, Samuel Corcoran of Easton and Emma Corcoran and her girlfriend Gabriella Rodriguez of NJ. She is survived by her Partner Andrew Kniffen and his children, Sam, Leila, Dylan and Benji of Evanston, IL. Olivia was the granddaughter of the late Joseph and Janet Lothrop and John and Bonnie Corcoran. She is also survived by her godsons James “JJ” Kramer and Billy Brien and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Friday, August 14, 2026 from 3-6 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church - Sacred Heart Parish, 72 Washington St., Weymouth on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Donations in Olivia’s memory may be made to WomenHeart of IL, PO Box 24983, New York, NY 10087 or at www.WomenHeart.org
