Patricia M. (Watts) Phetteplace, 83, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Morton Hospital in Taunton on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Phetteplace. Daughter of the late William and Philomena (Carolan) Watts, she was born in Boston and raised in South Boston and Dorchester. Pat was a graduate of Dorchester High School and Aquinas College in Newton from the Master's Teacher Program for Religious Education. She was a resident of Stoughton for 53 years. Pat was the Director of Religious Education at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton for 20 years before retiring in 2004 and remained very active at the church after her retirement. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Pat is survived by her children, Patricia E. Rourke and her husband Michael of Franklin, Judith M. Phetteplace of Stoughton and Robert L. Phetteplace and his wife Kelly Mason of Avon. She was the loving Nanie to Ryan and Brady Rourke and Nana Pat to Zachary, Noah and Brody Mason. She was the sister of the late William Watts, the late Marie Rosette and her late husband James, and the late Joseph Watts and his late wife Patricia. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary Watts of Cherry Hill, NJ and many nieces and nephews.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a private family service will be held with a celebration of Pat's life to be held at a later date. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat's memory may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton, MA 02072.
