Paulette J. Durling, 41, died Thursday, December 24, 2020, at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI, after suffering from complications from a brain aneurysm. Born in Stoughton, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and in Pine Ridge, FL. She was a resident of Blackstone, MA for the past 10 years. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother. Paulette was a dedicated friend who always put others first, and enjoyed being the life of the party. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, cooking, spending time with her family and friends, and, above all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Paulette is survived by her daughters; Hailee Durling and her significant other Sam Thornton and Erika Ahrens and her significant other Jake Wilga, all of Blackstone. She was the sister of Christine Durling of North Attleboro and is also survived by her grandchildren, Karter, Viviynne and Samuel, Jr. She was anxiously awaiting the birth of her fourth grandchild. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Stephanie (Saquet) Durling and is also survived by her longtime companion David Ahrens.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, private family services will be held with a celebration of her life to be scheduled in the spring. Interment will take place at Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon. Donations in Paulette's memory may be made to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, 269 Hanover St., Hanover, MA 02339.
