Emblem

Ralph Eugene “Gino” Quattrucci, Jr., 88, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Copley at Stoughton on Sunday, January 29, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.  Son of the late Raffaele and Luisa (Merola) Quattrucci, he was born in Boston and raised in Hyde Park.  He graduated from Hyde Park High School in 1952 where he was proudly a member of the Hyde Park Symphony.  Ralph was a veteran who served in the military as an Airman 1st Class in the U.S. Air Force and in the Naval Reserves during the Korea and Vietnam era.  He was the owner of Mass Heating, Inc. based in Stoughton for 48 years before retiring at the age 82.  He was a former member of the Sons of Italy and was active in Stoughton Little League where he coached, was an officer, and did work to help create the baseball complex.  His passions were golf, where his favorite saying was, “A chip and a putt”, golf trips, woodworking, winning MVP awards at Red Sox Fantasy Camp (which is something he was quick to let everyone know he won at the age of 62), gardening and most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughters.  He will always be remembered for having a smile on his face and as someone who was willing to do anything for anyone.  As anyone knows who knew him, he truly was one of a kind.

He is survived by his loving wife Patricia A. (Vidal) Quattrucci who he was married to for 62 years.  In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by his children, Ralph E. Quattrucci, III and his wife Maria of Kensington, MD, Stephen W. Quattrucci and his wife Jessica of Stoughton, John F. Quattrucci and his wife Rosemary and Patricia M. Raymo and her husband Daniel all of North Easton and Marie L. Gill and her husband Christopher of North Attleboro.  He was the brother of the late Mary Marinucci, Lee Kennedy, Louis Quattrucci, Theresa Pecci, John Quattrucci and Virginia Samuels.  He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, February 4 at 11 AM.  Visiting Hours prior from 9-11 AM.  Burial will be private at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Ralph‘s memory may be made to the Michael J.
