Raymond A. McKetchnie

Raymond A. McKetchnie, age 77, passed away on July 16, 2025, at Boston Medical Center - South. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Kathleen A. (Coakley). Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Archibald McKetchnie and Frances (Lynar) McKetchnie and was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain. He worked at Cambridge Trust as a banker for over 20 years before retiring, and after retirement delivered flowers for several local florists for many years. He was especially devoted to his family and grandchildren.

Ray is survived by his children Raymond T. McKetchnie and his wife Darcie of FL, Ellen M. Lawson of MA, Karen A. McKetchnie and her longtime partner Michael Fisher of Stoughton, and Andrew M. McKetchnie and his fiancée Jana Bechard of ME. He was Grampy to Amelia, Eric, Alexis, Ethan, AJ, Nick, Landon and Great Grampy to Nolan. He leaves behind 5 siblings and was predeceased by 5 siblings.
