Richard C. Rand

Richard C. Rand, 82, a resident of Stoughton, died Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. Son of the late Charles & Ethel (Weir) Rand. He was the husband of Dorothy M. (Morrow) Rand of 61 years. Born, raised and educated in Boston, he worked as a machinist in the automotive industry for many years.

Mr. Rand is father to daughters Jeannie DiBenedetto & husband Robert of N. Easton, Debra Lynn Welter of Falmouth and the late Teresa Rand. Grandfather to Ashley, Anthony, Erika, Frankie and Richie. Great-grandfather to Zachary and Blake. Brother to the late Jane Walsh and Kathleen Shea. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

A private interment will take place at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
