Richard D. “Dick” Sewcyk, 90, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026, at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton, following a long period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of Margaret N. “Peggy” (Nicholas) Sewcyk.
Born in Goffstown, New Hampshire, Dick was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Pisack) Sewcyk. He was raised and educated in Manchester, New Hampshire, and was a graduate of Manchester schools. He also attended the University of New Hampshire.

He was an avid fan of the Patriots and Red Sox, and enjoyed watching old movies on TCM and watching sitcoms, namely The Office and Sanford and Son. In his free time, Dick enjoyed gardening, working in his yard, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. Above all, his most cherished moments were those spent with his family, who meant so much to him.
