Rita L. (Bunavicz) Dolan

Rita L. (Bunavicz) Dolan, 79, a resident of Somerville, died peacefully at home on Sunday, November 6, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Thomas W. Dolan.  Daughter of the late Alfred and Alena (Astupeas) Bunavicz, she was born and raised in Stoughton.  Rita was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1961.  She lived in Brockton for 24 years and Lakeville for 20 years before moving to Somerville last year.  She was a homemaker.  She enjoyed arts and crafts but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Rita was the mother of Laura L. Rowland and her husband Anthony of Parrish, FL, Tammy J. Cornell-Costa and her husband Daniel of Somerville, Melissa L. Pacheco of Sarasota, FL., Thomas Dolan and his wife Michelle of Brockton, Laural Dolan- Dellarocco and her husband Peter or Middleboro  and the late Charles P. Cornell and his surviving wife Christine of Attleboro.  She was the grandmother of Thomas, Timothy, Derrick, Victoria, Nicholas, Alec, Benjamin, Jacob, Mark, Chelsea, Patrick and Jessica.  She was the sister of Eleanor Hatfield of Norton, Elaine Starkowsky of Middleboro, Keith Bunavicz of Brockton and the late Alfred Bunavicz.  She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
