Obituary

Robert Edward “Banjo” Badejo, a longtime resident of Stoughton, age 84, passed away unexpectedly on September 4th, 2026. Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late Antone Badejo and Mary (Andrade) Badejo, and was a proud veteran serving in the Marines for many years. Robert was a member of the Stoughton VFW, serving within the community for several years. He was a mechanic for over 30 years, owning his own business, Banjo’s Automotive Repair on Harvard Ave in Allston. Besides his love for fixing cars, he enjoyed yard work, gardening, watching military movies, sitting out at the fire pit, and spending time with his family and friends. Robert was a jack of all trades and worked hard. He always had to be doing something or fixing something until the day before he passed. He will be greatly missed.

Robert is survived by his children Betty (Badejo) Seaman of Stoughton, and Joan Badejo of South Yarmouth and was preceded in death by his son Edward Ernest Badejo, and leaves behind his daughter-in-law Stacey Blau Badejo. He is survived by his grandkids Douglas Joseph Seaman, Jr., Robert Grafton Seaman, Nikki (Badejo) Hershmann and her husband Shaun, and was preceded in death by his grandson Edward Badejo. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren Emilia, Fiona, Steven and Ava.

Family services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
