Robert "Bob" Brendan Mondor, age 93 passed away peacefully on the morning of April 4, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was the doting husband of the late Barbara Mondor. Born on April 23, 1932 in Norwood, he was 1 of 8 children born to the late Edward and Marie Mondor. He was a graduate of Norwood High School, Class of 1951. Bob served as a gunman in the United States Navy from 1951-1955 in the Korean War. After his time in the service, he worked as a supervisor at a book binding company. Bob absolutely adored his wife Barbara, and his commitment, devotion and love for her was unmatched. They met at a local dance, and on that fateful night, Bob proclaimed to her, “I’m going to marry you.” The couple were married in 1958 and raised three children together in Stoughton. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and he cherished visits from his loved ones and close friends.
Bob is survived by his daughters Lynne Denton and her partner Tom Doyle of Brockton, Lori Hagman and her husband John of Bridgewater, daughter-in-law Christine Mondor of Foxboro and son Marc Cooperstein of North Andover. He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara and son Robert Mondor, Jr. He leaves behind 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews & loved ones.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday April 17th at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Easton, 193 North Main Street, Easton. Burial will be held privately with family.
