Robert M. Morgan, Jr., 66, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. He was the husband of Ellen Lash. Son of Jennette (Butman) Morgan of Canton and the late Robert M. Morgan, he was born in Boston and raised in Canton. Robert was a graduate of Canton High School and Massasoit Community College. He was a Specialist in the U.S. Army and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He resided in Stoughton for the past 35 years. Robert was a police officer with the Massachusetts Metro Police and then the Massachusetts State Police for 17 years serving with the Mounted Unit until his retirement in 1996. He was a member of the Easton Rod & Gun Club and a supporter of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and his 1962 MGA. He loved his horse, his cats and his country.

In addition to his wife and his mother, Robert is survived by his siblings, Jack Morgan and Timothy Morgan both of Canton and Holly Morgan of Dighton.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 11:15 AM.
