Ronald P. Cavanaugh

Ronald P. Cavanaugh, age 83, passed away on January 15, 2024, at the Boston Medical Center. He was the longtime companion to Robin Felos of West Bridgewater. Born in Biddeford, Maine, he was the son of the late Varley Vincent and Florence Rose (Stewart) Cavanaugh. He was raised and educated in Quincy and went on to receive a degree in Accounting from Bentley. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant and a Chief Financial Officer for many years, before retiring in 2017. He enjoyed reading, building model railroads, and loved to go sailing and fishing in Buzzards Bay.

In addition to his companion Robin, he was preceded in death by his late wife Lynne (Molander) Cavanaugh and his children Paul and Keith Cavanaugh, as well as his sister Corrine Black. He is survived by his niece Andrea Clark and her son Murry.

Visitation will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton, on Saturday February 3 from 10-11:30 AM, followed by Funeral Prayers at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
