Ronald Marini, age 80, passed away on September 9, 2022 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Son of the late Alzo Marini and Catherine (O’Neil) DiVenuti, he was born in Boston, raised Roslindale and was a graduate of Boston Schools.  He was a Veteran of the US Army.  Ronnie was a longtime resident of Stoughton. He was the proud founder and owner of Ronnie’s Diner on Washington Street in Stoughton for over 30 years and retired several years ago.  He was an avid sportsman and especially loved hunting and fishing in his free time.

Ronnie is survived by his children, Natalie Tucker of Quincy and Steven Marini of Hyde Park.  He was the brother of Albert Marini of TX and Loretta Curran of Sharon. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street, (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Friday from 11AM to 12 PM with Funeral Prayers at 12 PM.  Burial will be private at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ronnie’s memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St, Suite 250, Framingham, 01701.
