Rosamond L. O'Donnell

Rosamond L. O'Donnell, 83, died peacefully at her home in Shelburne Falls, MA on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. She was the wife of the late James Maloney. The daughter of Aldea and James O'Donnell, she was born and raised in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1948. She was a resident of Shelburne Falls for the past 4 years, previously living in Brockton for several years and in Maine for 20 years. Ms. O'Donnell worked as a Telephone Operator for New England Telephone for several years. She was a lover of animals who had a great sense of humor.

She is survived by her children, Ann Marie Maloney of FL, Mary Huff and her husband Sherman of ME and James Maloney and his wife Lynne Chase of Amherst. She was the sister of Marjorie Dietz of NH and the late William and James O'Donnell. She is also survived by her goddaughter Cynthia Campanella and her husband Mike of NH and her close friend and caregiver Sheila Gammon of Shelburne Falls and 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, July 26 at 12 Noon. Visiting Hours prior to the services from 10-12 PM.
