Roy H. Peck passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 88. He was married to his beloved wife, Marron P. (Davis) Peck for 54 years. He was born in Boston in 1938, and settled with his family in Stoughton. He worked as a truck driver and carpenter, but his true calling was being a Stoughton Firefighter for 35 years. He took pride in coaching all three of his children in sports, going on cruises with his cousins, and spending hours building an impressive train collection.
Roy is survived by his children, Steven Peck and his wife Anne Margaret, Michael Peck and Tara Peck. He is also survived by his grandchildren James Peck and his wife Kim, Meghan Jarvis and her husband Mike, Chris Peck and his wife Karly, Michaela Peck and Madison Peck, as well as his 5 great-grandchildren, Jackson Peck, Savannah Peck, Riley Peck, Travis Peck and River Roy Jarvis, and his cherished dog Lucky. He was the brother of the late Pauline Capozzoli.
Visitation will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Wednesday, May 20 from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Service will be held the next day at the funeral home, Thursday May 21 at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Dry Pond Cemetery in Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roy’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 320 Nevada Street, Suite 201, Newton, MA 02460 or at https://donorservices.alz.org/.
