Ruth Elizabeth Leif

Ruth Elizabeth Leif, 93, a resident of Keystone, FL, died peacefully at Haven Hospice in Gainesville on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Daughter of the late Peter and Ruth (Skougland) Leif, she was born in Quincy and raised in Stoughton. She was a graduate of Stoughton High School and Yale University. She was a lifelong resident of Stoughton before moving to Keystone 10 years ago. Elizabeth was a registered nurse at Marian Manor in South Boston for over 20 years before retiring 20 years ago. In her free time, she was very active at her church.

Elizabeth was the sister of the late Robert Leif, Peter Leif and Ronald Leif. She is survived by her nieces, Lisa Leif and Debbie Kelley and her nephew, Karl Leif.  

Visitation will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, May 20 from 10-11 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elizabeth‘s memory may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 (https://www.cancer.org/).
