Ruth A. (O'Connor) Ravesi

Ruth A. (O’Connor) Ravesi, 80, died on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at the Boston Medical Center in Boston, after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late John P. Ravesi. Born in Boston, she was the youngest of 10 children raised and educated in South Boston. She was a resident of Canton since 1975. Ruth was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who loved being surrounded by her beloved family.

Ruth is survived by her four children, Francis J. Ravesi of Taunton, Jackie Ravesi of Canton, Steven Ravesi of N. Attleboro and Christine Ravesi Weinstein of Plainville. She was the sister of James O’Connor and Walter O’Connor both of Stoughton and the late John O’Connor, Paul O’Connor, Joseph O’Connor, June Dawson, Jean Curry, Joan MacDonald and Geraldine Gingras. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Private family services were held.
