Sarah A. (Page) Baker, 70, died unexpectedly on Monday, November 9, 2020 at her home in Stoughton. Born in Dorchester, she was raised and educated in Sharon and was a graduate of Sharon High School. Sarah was also a graduate of the New England Deaconess School of Nursing and continued her education by becoming a Certified Nurse Anesthetist in 1986. She was a resident of Stoughton for the past 10 years, previously living in California for many years. While in California, she was an integral part of the founding of the PIADS, an educational institute for oral and maxillofacial surgery that has become the basis for teaching and educating surgeons. She was also a founding member and employee of an Oral & Maxillofacial practice in Palo Alto, CA, where she worked as the practice administrator for many years. Sarah also worked as a nurse anesthetist at Kaiser Hospital in Santa Clara. However, above all else, she was a dedicated and loving mother to her only daughter, Aliya. Sarah was an avid gardener and was dedicated to her extended family, always making time for vacations with her sister and family. She was also a lover of Yorkies, especially her dog, Teriyaki.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her beloved daughter, Aliya A. Lakha of Menlo Park, CA. She was the twin sister of Susan J. Romanick of Stoughton and the sister of Maren, Kerry and Tracy. Sarah is also survived by her former husband and business associate Azeem K. Lakha, DMD of Menlo Park, CA and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 11AM-12 PM followed by Funeral Prayers at 12 PM. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
