Shane A. Medeiros

Shane A. Medeiros, 32, died unexpectedly after being stricken ill at his home in Brockton on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Born in Wareham, son of Michael A. Medeiros of NH and the late Maria Cecelia (DeAscensao) Medeiros, he was raised and educated in Stoughton. Shane was a resident of Brockton since 2019. He worked in the IT Department at CVS Health in Rhode Island for the past 3 years, previously working at XPO Logistics in Stoughton for 6 years and for Electrochem in Raynham for 5 years. He enjoyed studying Greek Mythology, science and also enjoyed playing video games.

Shane is survived by his children, Glitch R. McKinley-Medeiros and Cecelia D. McKinley-Medeiros both of Plympton. In addition to his father, he is survived by his two brothers, Derek A. Medeiros of Stoughton and Ryan A. Medeiros of Brockton. He was the grandson of Maria Conceicao “Connie” (Teixeira) DeAscencao of Stoughton and the late Jose DeAscencao, Daniel and Mildred (Brown) Medeiros.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 4-7 PM. Funeral will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 10 AM

In lieu of flowers, donations in Shane’s name may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society
