Sharon L. (Marum) Fernandes

Sharon L. (Marum) Fernandes, age 76, passed away on January 17, 2022 at Foremost Nursing Home in Sharon, MA. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter to the late Mabel (Ralph) and James Marum. She was the wife to Bernard "Benny" C. Fernandes for 37 loving years. She was raised in Braintree and graduated from Braintree High School. She worked as a Receptionist for Miracle Ear in Brockton for many years. She also worked at Haemontics in Braintree for 5 years. Sharon enjoyed crafts and playing bingo. She also loved her cat Tiger and was an avid Red Sox fan. She especially cherished spending time at Nantasket Beach and dining out with her dear husband, and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband Benny, Sharon is survived by her children Robert McCulloch of Florida, Scott McCulloch of Georgia and her stepson Jeffrey Fernandes of Stoughton. She is also survived by her siblings, Cheryl Coppens of Duxbury, Lynn Warren of Weymouth, Gayle Carson of Weymouth and James Marum of Braintree, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton, on Thursday January 27th from 9:30-11:30 AM with Funeral Prayers at 11:30AM. Interment will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:15 PM.
