Stephen P. Kirkpatrick

Stephen P. Kirkpatrick, age 71, passed away peacefully at his residence in Brockton surrounded by his family on April 28, 2024. He was the loving husband to Marjorie L. (McKeen) Kirkpatrick for 35 years. Born in Chelsea, he was the son of the late James Kirkpatrick and A. Patricia (Farrell) Kirkpatrick, and was a longtime resident of Stoughton, graduating from Stoughton High School. He worked as a trash truck driver for Waste Management for 20 years. He also worked as a DJ for his own company, Stevie K Productions out of Stoughton for 25 years. He formed many friendships throughout his years of being a DJ, and loved all the different groups of people he had the pleasure of working with during his career. He truly cherished the time he dedicated to showcase his enjoyment and passion for the job. He liked playing the guitar, collecting sports memorabilia – especially anything that had to do with baseball – and adored his dogs and bird. He had a kind, genuine, and accepting heart, and would do anything for those he loved, and was someone you could always count on. Above all, he was a devoted husband and father and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife Marjorie, Steve is survived by his children James M. Kirkpatrick of Taunton and Shaun M. Kirkpatrick of Dorchester. He was the grandfather to Brooklyn, Addison, Haylee, and Collin. He was the brother to 3 siblings and was preceded in death by one of his brothers. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Thursday May 9th from 10-11 AM, with a Funeral Service held at 11 AM.
