Steven S. Matos, age 44, passed away suddenly, on November 29, 2022 at his residence in Stoughton. Born and raised in Stoughton, he was the son of Maria Fatima (Soares) and the late Antonio Candido Matos. He was a Machinist at Brookfield/Ametek for 12 years. He was an avid sports fan, loving all Boston sports teams, and was into cars, and enjoyed attending car shows. He was also very involved with his children’s baseball and football games.
Steven leaves behind his longtime companion Michele McGaffey and their children Jacoby and Nathan Matos of Stoughton, he is also survived by his siblings Aida Lourenco and her husband Richard of Stoughton and his nieces Sophia and Sienna Lourenco and Kristen Hill and her husband Devin of Sharon.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27) Stoughton, on Tuesday December 6th from 4-7PM. A Funeral will be held the next day, Wednesday December 7th at the funeral home at 9:30AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton at 10:30AM.
