Thi Chu Le, 58, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Friday, July 26, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Hua Kim Thong and Tran Thi Bong, she was born and raised in Phnom Penh, Cambodia before living in Quincy for 4 years. She resided in Stoughton since 1997. She was the owner of Stoughton Coffee House for 12 years after working for Dr. Sally Hua Butler in Weymouth for several years. She retired in 2024. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and traveling.
Chu Le is survived by her children, Timothy Thai and his wife Jiahua “Sherry” Liang of Framingham, Anthony Thai and his fiancé Tonya Aguiar of Stoughton and Ellen Le Thai of Stoughton. She was the sister of Hua Thi Eng and Hua Son both of Vietnam, Hua Lieng Hieng of Braintree, Hua Thi Hoa of California, Hua Thi Mai of Maryland, Hua Thi Huong of Weymouth, Hua Thi Sen of Braintree, Hua Thi Au of Weymouth, Hua Thi Ly of Vietnam and Hua Quang of Braintree. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, August 1 from 9:30-11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Thi Chu Le‘s memory may be made to Asian Refugees United, at Mightycause.com.
