V. Barbara (Waygan) Werkowski

V. Barbara (Waygan) Werkowski, 93, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Friday, April 10, 2020. She was the wife of the late Paul P. Werkowski. Daughter of the late John F. and Veronica E. (Zuris) Waygan, she was born in Boston and raised in South Boston. She was a graduate of South Boston High School. Barbara was a resident of Stoughton for the past 57 years. She worked for UPS for 15 years before retiring in 1991. She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time at the beach but her greatest joy was spending time outdoors with her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her children, Denise Ginsburg and her husband Alan of Bridgewater, Joan Carroll and David Werkowski and his wife Kathleen all of Stoughton, Michael Werkowski of Canton, Anita Parker and her husband George and Paula Taylor and her husband James all of Easton and Barbara Roche and her husband Thomas, III of Brockton. She was sister of the late Jeanette Sample, John Waygan, Paul Viginus, Ann Breynart and Susan Parker. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
