Victor J. Araujo

Victor J. Araujo, 52, a resident of Fall River, formerly of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. Son of Maria Zelia (Bento) Araujo of Stoughton and the late Tiberio L. Araujo, he was born in Vila Franca, São Miguel, Azores, Portugal. He came to Stoughton in 1968 and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1985. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Bridgewater State University, Class of 1992. Victor was a resident of Fall River for the past 15 years. He was a limousine driver for Commonwealth Limo in Boston for over 20 years. He was an avid Boston sports fan, especially the Bruins and Patriots, as well as a car enthusiast. He enjoyed smoking cigars, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Victor is survived by his siblings, Robert M. Araujo of Raynham, Tiberio L. Araujo, Lucy M. SantoCristo and Roy F. Araujo all of Stoughton, Ana P. Araujo Beaulieu of Wareham and Olga Monteiro of Taunton. He was the godfather of Madison Araujo and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, February 29 at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 9:30-11:30 AM. Burial will be at a later date.
