Virginia (Huntley) MacDonald

Virginia "Ginny" (Huntley) MacDonald, 84, a resident of Easton, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Walter J. MacDonald, Jr. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Marjorie (Chapman) Huntley, she was born in Brockton, raised in Middleboro and graduated from Middleboro High School. Ginny resided in Stoughton for 30 years before moving to Taunton for 15 years and Easton the past 4 years. Ginny was a receptionist for many years at Doctor Katz dentist office in Stoughton, as well as an office administrator at the Chrysler Dealership. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Ginny is survived by her children, Richard F. Donovan and his wife Mary of Middleboro and Deborah D. Welch and her husband William of Easton. She was the loving grandmother of Jennifer, James, Amy, Shaynna and Bryanne. She was the sister of the late Roy Huntley. She was also the cherished "Gigi" to her 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, June 27 at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 10-11:30 AM. Donations in Ginny's memory may be made to Susan G. Komen (for Breast Cancer), 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.
