William F. “Dewey” Doucette, 63, died Friday, February 17, 2023 at the Massachusetts General Hospital after suffering injuries in a car accident. He was the beloved husband of Silvana (Cimildoro) Concannon. Born in Norwood, he was raised in Canton and was a 1978 Graduate of Canton High School. He was a longtime dedicated member of Heavy Equipment Operators Local 4 in Medway, spending over 40 years in the union before his retirement in 2021. Dewey was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time skiing, hiking, snowmobiling and four-wheeling. He enjoyed a good ice cream cone and loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepson Michael J. Cimildoro and his wife Meaghan of Scituate, his grandchildren Joseph and Lila Cimildoro and his sister Cathy Dodd of Upton. He was predeceased by his siblings, John Doucette and Ellen Carlton and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 4-7 PM. Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church at 10 AM. Dewey was a longtime patient of Dr. Timothy Guiney at Mass General Hospital Cardiovascular Center. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dewey’s memory may be made to Mass General Cardiovascular Center.
