William Francis McLaughlin

William Francis McLaughlin, Jr., 70, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Son of the late William F. and Anna Mary (Sugrue) McLaughlin, he was born in Boston and raised in Stoughton. Bill was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1973. He owned a trucking company for 20 years before retiring 5 years ago.

Bill is survived by his son, Chaiwat William McLaughlin of Rhode Island.  He is also survived by his siblings, Daniel R. “Dinny” McLaughlin and his wife Kathy of Stoughton and Anne Marie Fuoco of Wareham. He was the uncle of Paul Daphnis, Chris, Patrick and William Fuoco and Michael, Kevin and Robert McLaughlin. He also leaves his beloved dog, Marley.
