William P. Hogan, Sr.

William P. Hogan, Sr.

William P. Hogan, Sr., 88, a longtime resident of North Easton, died peacefully at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, December 8, 2022.  He was the husband of Rose Marie (Florio) Hogan for 66 years.  Son of the late William P. and Edna (Guilford) Hogan, he was born in Boston and raised in Boston’s West End.  He was a resident of North Easton since 1969.  Bill was an iron worker for the Local 7 in South Boston for over 30 years before retiring in 1986.  He was a founder of the Iron Workers Local 7 Retirees Club.  He also enjoyed being on his computer and listening to the “oldies” on his jukebox but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his children, Diane M. Morrison and her husband Mark of Mashpee, William P. Hogan, Jr. of Easton, Debra A. Santos and her husband Michael of Rome, NY and Michael J. Hogan and his wife Dianne of Attleboro.  He was the grandfather of Matthew Bailey, Heather Russo, Gianna Hogan and Michael Santos, Jr. and the great-grandfather of Tyler Bailey and Austin Holbrook.  He was the brother of Robert Hogan of Billerica and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in William‘s memory may be made to the American Lung Association, PO Box 756, Osceola, WI 54020-0756.
