William M. Pineo, age 55, died unexpectedly on Wednesday January 26, 2022 at his home in Weymouth. Born in Boston, he was the son of William H. and Kathleen L. (Keohan) Pineo. He was raised in Mission Hill, then in Stoughton, then finally in Easton. Bill attended Stoughton Schools where he was educated at a younger age. Bill later attended Boston College High School, where he was a member of the football and basketball teams. He then went on and attended Bates College where he played 4 years of varsity football, graduating in 1989. He later furthered his education and received his Master's Degree in Social Work from Boston College. Bill worked as a sales manager, a Social Worker for several area companies over the past 30 years and recently as a director of Counseling, helping a countless amount of people in his selflessness. He enjoyed golfing and physical fitness. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved children, family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children Kaelyn Pineo of IL, and Hanna, Kyle and Cariss Pineo all of Easton. He is also survived by his previous wife Azure Pineo. He was the brother of Kristin M. Zammit and her husband Tony of Hanover. He also leaves behind his nephew Sebastian Pineo who he had a special relationship with.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street, Stoughton (Rt. 27) on Thursday February 3rd from 2-5 PM, with a Funeral Service at 5 PM. The family would like to invite anyone who would like to attend, to The Chateau, 1165 Park Street, Stoughton following the service from 6-8PM for a celebration of Bill's life.
